As you might guess, docents who serve as tour guides for school children and the general public do yeoman's service. To meet this challenge, all tour guides participate in a 16 hour, 4-week course that explores issues of culture and environment on site and in the region.

After training, volunteers may also choose to take on special educational projects, such as assisting with public programs and events.
