Volunteer Opportunities at Rancho Los Alamitos

Volunteers bring The Rancho to life through their creative efforts. Volunteers support every facet of Ranch activity, from offering school tours and educational special events that attract thousands to providing specialized garden care and performing skilled curatorial tasks. There is a welcoming place for you at Rancho Los Alamitos. Bring your skills, enthusiasm, and whatever time you have to give.

Each of the six general volunteer service areas at Rancho Los Alamitos offers a variety of associated opportunities, time commitments, and training to suit your own particular interest and needs. Please click the links below to learn more.

Faux Food

  Faux Food Ham Petitfours

A clever group of volunteers at The Rancho has developed an extensive menu of life-like "faux foods" which they create and display in the ranch house kitchen and diningroom. Brilliant! Click here to see photos in a website developed by Laura Williams about the RLA Faux Food Project
